‘Rangamarthanda’ release date poster
Krishnavamshi, who created a unique image for himself as a creative director, gave good movies like ‘Gulabi’, ‘Ninnepelladuta’, ‘Sindhuram’, ‘Antha:puram’, ‘Samudram’, ‘Murari’, ‘Khadgam’, ‘Chakram’ to the Telugu audience. However, Krishnavamsi’s name has not been heard much for some time now. The reason for this is that he has not been able to do a hit movie in recent times. In 2007, the movie ‘Chandamama’ directed by Krishnavamshi became a super hit. But, after this movie, he did not get that level of success.
The 2014 family drama ‘Govindudu Andariwadele’ with Ram Charan was a disappointment. Three years later, the multi-starrer ‘Nakshatram’ made with Tollywood’s young heroes failed to impress. After that, Krishnavamshi took a break and announced the movie ‘Rangamarthanda’ in 2019. It is a remake of Marathi movie ‘Natasamrat’. This movie is a summary of the events that happened in the life of stage actors. The plot unfolds with many emotions.
Prakashraj, Ramyakrishna and Brahmanandam acted in the lead roles in ‘Rangamarthanda’. Anasuya Bharadwaj, Adarsh Balakrishna, Rahul Sipliganj, Sivatmika Rajasekhar, Ali Reza played other important roles. However, Brahmanandam and Prakash Raj were the most talked about by those who watched the premiere shows. We are going to see Brahmanandam in a role and shades that we have not seen so far. Brahmanandam, who has been making us laugh so long with his gestures.. But in this movie, he brought tears to our eyes with his performance. Maestro Ilayaraja’s music is another strength of this movie. All in all, Telugu audiences are going to be given an emotional ride at Krishnavanshi theaters on 22nd of this month.
