PS1 Pre Release: Mani Ratnam’s 40 Years Dream: Hero Karthi

There are many stories in our India. There are many heroes here. We have such great stories to tell. One such is ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. Directed by Mani Ratnam, this film is produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies Banners. The first part of the film, which is being made in two parts, will be released worldwide on PS1 on September 30 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. The pre-release event of this movie was held in Hyderabad on Friday. On this occasion..

Hero Karthi said, “When you see a ceremony like this, you understand that cinema is a medium that takes things like caste and religion aside and moves forward. Mani Ratnam’s 40-year-old dream is Ponniyin Selvan’s movie. Will it be like Baahubali! They are asking. But it is not like Baahubali. Because we have already seen Baahubali. Mani Ratnangaru made the story which was in the form of a novel for 70 years as a movie. It is a great feeling to work with Vikramgaru, Ravigaru, Aishwarya madam, Trisha and Vikram Prabhu. It is believed that such a movie will be loved by the Telugu audience.

There is romance in Ponniyin Selvan. There is adventure. Hundred years ago, our people followed the politics that the political parties are following now. The characters in it are as deep as the characters in Ramayana and Mahabharata. I feel lucky to work in the film. Thanks to Mani Ratnam. Thanks to Rehman. We are eagerly waiting to see how the Telugu audience will respond to this movie, which will be released on September 30,” he said.
