While Keeravani composed the tune for the song ‘Natu Natu’, his son Kala Bhairava sang this song along with another singer Rahul Sipliganj. He also gave a live performance on the Oscar stage. But if this song is getting an Oscar now, it is a special thing that both father and son are working together for this. In fact, the Oscar fame for the Natu Natu song goes to the lyricist, composer, singers, choreographer and also those who danced on screen. In this calculation, along with Keeravani, his son Kalabhairava shared the same Oscar.
Meanwhile, Keeravani has been a music director in Tollywood for decades. So far, he has received Nandi Awards as well as National Award for some of the films he has composed music for. But he won the Oscar award for the first time. In fact, this is the first Oscar not only for him but for India.
As for Kala Bhairava, he has already proved himself as a playback singer. He has also worked as a music director for films such as ‘Matthu Vadalara, Color Photo, Karthikeya 2, Samudanda Vinthamam, Pankashanm’. In 2019, Kalabhairava, who won the Filmfare Award for Penimithi song in NTR’s film ‘Aravinda Sametha’, also sang the song ‘Komarambhimudo’ in RRR’s film. However, there is no chance of this song getting the Nandi Award given by the state government.
