Senior actor, producer and rebel star Krishnam Raju passed away at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad on Sunday morning. The news that Krishna Raju is no more is shocking to Telugu cinema (Tollywood). Krishnamrajugaru has earned a permanent place in the minds of the audience as a rebel star with his unique performance and has become a role model for many. Acting in two films with Krishna Rajugari is a great experience that will never be forgotten. Our family has a good relationship with Krishnamrajugari. I went and met Krishnarajugaru when he was undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital. He often inquired about his health. It is very unfortunate that he is not with us today. Nandamuri Balakrishna said, “I express my deepest condolences to his family members, wishing his holy soul to rest in peace.”

The full name of Krishnamraju, who gained craze as a rebel star in the industry, is Uppalapati Venkata Krishnamraju. Born on January 20, 1940 in Mogalthur, West Godavari district. In 1966, he made his debut in Telugu cinema with the film Chilaka Gorinka. The funeral will be held in Hyderabad on Monday.
