Meanwhile, Tarakaratna, who participated in the Yuva Galam Padayatra started by Telugu Desam Party National General Secretary Nara Lokesh from Kuppam six days ago, collapsed due to heart attack while walking in the padayatra. He was immediately taken to KC Hospital in Kuppam. After first aid there, he was taken to PES Medical College Hospital in the town. From there he was taken to Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bangalore in a special ambulance. Tarakaratna is currently undergoing treatment there.
