Ajay Devgn: ‘Natu Natu’ song won Oscar because of me: Ajay Devgn

RRR is the most prestigious film directed by director Rajamouli. Released in March last year, the film has received critical acclaim from audiences across the world. The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from this film has created history as the first Indian film to win the Best Original Song category at the 95th Academy Awards. It brought global recognition to Indian cinema and made the country proud. But Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan, who played the role of Ramaraju’s father in this film, gave an interesting response to RRR’s recent Oscar win. He gave a statement that he got this award.

Ajay Devgan attended ‘The Kapil Sharma’ talk show for the promotions of his directorial ‘Bhola’. But the host Kapil congratulated Ajay as he was also a part of the Oscar winning film RRR. But Ajay responded to his compliment and said that it was because of him that the film RRR got the Oscar. Because what would have happened if he had danced to the song ‘Natu Natu’? Everyone laughed at that.

Meanwhile.. Ajay Devgan and Tubu starrer upcoming movie ‘Bhola’ is going to release on March 30. This pan India movie will clash with Natural Nani’s ‘Dussehra’ movie at the box office. As far as the Bhola story is concerned.. it is a remake of Lokesh Kanakaraj’s ‘Khaidi’ movie in Tamil with Karthi as the hero. It has to be seen what kind of result this movie will get in Hindi which is a big hit in South.

As for Ajay’s upcoming movies… there is a very long list. The movie ‘Maidan’ in which he is acting will be released in June this year. South actress Priyamani is acting in this. The film ‘Auro Mai Kaha Dhoom Ta’ is also likely to release this year. Ajay is once again acting together in this film.
