Union Budget 2023: Highest allocation of Rs.12,824 crore for Telugu states: Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnav

Union Budget 2023 Minister of Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw: Secunderabad.. Highest Rs. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and South Central Railway GM Arun Kumar Jain said that 12,824 crores have been allocated. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav told about the total allocations made to Telugu states through video conference in a meeting held under the direction of Secunderabad Rail Nilayam GM. Meanwhile, GM Arun Kumar explained about the item-wise allocations. 

Higher allocations than last year 
On this occasion, South Central Railway GM Arun Kumar said.. Telangana will get Rs. He said that an allocation of 4 thousand 4 hundred 18 crores has been made, which is 45 percent more than last year’s Rs.3048 crores. He said that Rs.8406 crore has been allocated to Andhra Pradesh in this budget. It is stated that 20 percent more has been allocated in this budget than the allocation of Rs.7032 crore made last year. He said that a total of Rs 13,786.19 crores has been allocated for the South Central Railway. Last year only Rs 8,349.75 crores were allocated, compared to which this year 65 percent more has been allocated.. This includes doubling, third line, bypass, link works. For Rs. 3,374 crore, for new lines, security Rs. 819 crores and Rs.588 crores have been allocated for electrification.

Vande metros will be started soon.. Union Minister

Recently started Secunderabad‌ – Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat‌ Central Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that Express is getting good response. He said that the center is planning to bring vande metros in the same order. Vande Bharat‌ Vande said that the metros, which will be different from the train, will run between the two cities with a distance of 60-70 km. Vande made it clear that the Metro will be launched only after conducting a trial run and inspecting it. He said that the cooperation of the state governments is necessary for the completion of railway projects. Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2017  Vande Bharat‌ Mentioning about train.. Vande Bharat‌ It was explained that the manufacturing of trains started domestically. 600 crores have been allocated for MMTS in Telangana. Kazipet Wagon‌ Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that tenders have been called for setting up the factory and the foundation stone will be laid soon. He said that more Vande Bharat trains will run.

The Union Budget 2023-24 was presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament on Wednesday. In this budget, budget allocations have been made for many organizations in Telugu states.  AP’s share in central taxes is Rs. 41, 338 crores while Telangana’s share is Rs. 21,470 crore announced by the Union Finance Minister in his budget speech.
