Republic Day Celebrations 2023: AP, Telangana NCC cadets who performed well in the Republic Day Parade – Best Cadet Trophy at the hands of Prime Minister Modi

Republic Day Celebrations 2023: A team from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana returned to Secunderabad after a 30-day Republic Day camp in Delhi. It consists of one officer, 121 cadets and 10 other support staff. Cadets from all 28 states of the country participated in various national level competitions during the camp.

SGT G Prem Kritika of Secunderabad GP Headquarter made the directorate proud by being selected as the best cadet in S&W Army division. Received the Best Cadet Trophy by Prime Minister Modi during the PM Rally held at Parade Ground, Cariappa, New Delhi on 28 January 2023. Cadet Amoghawardraj Naidu stood third in the category of Best Cadet SD Naval Wing, while Cadet V. Shiva Ganesh, Cadet CH. Nitin Sai won the Best Cadet JD Army & JD stood fourth in the Navy category and received the DG NCC Medallion.

The NCC RDC Camp-2023 started on 01 January 2023 at Cariappa Parade Ground, New Delhi with the participation of 2,155 cadets from across the country. The camp was inaugurated by the Vice President of India. Other dignitaries including the Defense Minister, the Defense Secretary, the Chiefs of the Armed Forces and the Chief Minister of Delhi visited. Concluded with the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On the occasion of Republic Day, 9 SD Cadets from NCC Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Directorate participated in March Past on Kartavya Marg, NCC Boys, Girls Contingent. S‌W cadets‌s participated. The training of these cadets started in the month of September at sub unit and unit level. After various levels of training and selections, 121 cadets from three NCC divisions of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were finally selected to represent NCC. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Directorate Republic Day Camp on National Stage is a life-changing experience for a cadet.

Participating on the Republic Day on the national stage of Secunderabad will give every NCC student a life-changing experience and memories that will last a lifetime, said Telangana Andhra NCC DDG P. Maheshwar. DDG Maheshwar congratulated NCC students and officers of Telugu states who returned to Secunderabad after participating in the 30-day camp in Delhi as well as the Republic Day celebrations as part of Azadika Amrit Mahotsav. On this occasion, Maheshwar said that while a total of 1 lakh 21 thousand NCC students from the two states were receiving training, only 121 students got the opportunity to participate in the parade. It is stated that all 28 states participated in this camp. S‌GT G. Prem Kritika of Secunderabad GP Head Quarters revealed that Directorate K has become proud of being selected as the best cadet in the S‌W division.
