Nizamabad: Nandipet sarpanch’s suicide attempt in the fund Panchayat!

The suicide attempt of the Sarpanch of Nandipet in Nizamabad Collectorate on Monday caused a commotion due to the fact that if the funds are spent on development in the village, the bills will not be sanctioned. The issue of Sarpanchs has become a hot topic throughout the district. But there are total 531 gram panchayats in the district. Central and state finance funds have stopped for gram panchayats since last year. Serpents are facing many difficulties because they cannot tell anyone. Several sarpanches of Nandipet mandal met DPO officer Jayasudha on Tuesday after the Nandipet Sarpanch incident. We took loans and did development work in the villages. Interests are increasing. The serpents are going to go to the wall because it has become a burden beyond the head. But the panchayat officer Jayasudha said that the bills will be paid soon.
When differences of opinion arise, the story gets stuck.
They are doing development work in the villages with their own money. They want to be known in the villages and hope that there will be some revenue in the respective bills. Officials are also happy if things are done. All this is fine as long as there are no conflicts. But when there is a difference of opinion between the representatives of the people, the story turns upside down. Then the authorities remember the regulations.
It is okay if the bills come on time, otherwise!
Canals and roads were built in rural areas with the funds of the employment guarantee scheme. Toilets, guards and sheds have been constructed in schools. Most of the works were done by the serpents. As the works cost between Rs.5 lakh to Rs.10 lakh, the big monopolists did not come forward. People’s representatives are given priority as they are doing it in the nominated system. As there are targets with deadlines to complete the works, the officials are also willing to do it with the Sarpanchs. As long as the bills arrive on time, it is fine. Incidents like going to offices and getting suspended are taking place only in case of delay. There are times when the Panchayat Raj came to this office and got into a fight.
Serpanch suicides uproar!
Sarpanchs commiting suicides due to increased debts due to disbursed funds is causing concern. The central and state governments have not sanctioned the bills for a year… if development work is not done in the villages, the sarpanchs are facing many problems with the people.
