Hyderabad: It is raining heavily in Hyderabad district for the second day in a row. On Wednesday evening and night, many parts of the city received heavy rain accompanied by gale force winds. Even on Thursday, it is raining with gale force winds in many parts of the city. It rained heavily in rural areas of Secunderabad and Amber Peta. After 2 o’clock in the afternoon the weather suddenly changed. Heavy rain occurred in Secunderabad, Boyn Pally, Prakash Nagar, Begumpet, Amber Peta areas. All the roads were waterlogged due to torrential rain in Nagol, LB Nagar and areas. In some places, traffic was disrupted due to rain water standing on the roads. Moderate rain also occurred in Panjagutta, Baghlingampa, RTC Cross Roads, Kothi and Abids. The weather got a bit cooler as it rained for the second day in a row. Day and night temperatures are dropping slightly. Orange alert has already been issued for Telangana. It is raining in some districts with a speed of 40 to 50 kmph.

Thunder and lightening rains are likely to occur here and there tomorrow in Telangana state. Also, gusty winds with thunder and lightning (wind speed of 30 to 40 km per hour) along with rain with hail are likely to occur here and there. Meteorological Center officials said that there will be thunder and lightening rains here and there in Jagityala, Rajanna Sirisilla and Kamareddy districts. Gusty winds are likely to blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph.
