Meta may have ended its efforts at live shopping on Facebook and Instagram, but the company still knows its app’s capabilities. A news related to this is coming out. Meta has started working with Amazon on in-app shopping feature. Under this, users will be able to order Amazon goods directly from Facebook and Instagram. For this, users will first have to link their Insta or Facebook account with Amazon. Before linking the account, you have to accept all the terms and conditions. Therefore, read them carefully first.
At present only the people here will benefit
According to the report of Tech Crunch, this feature will be released first in the US where users will see price, Prime eligibility, delivery time and product details in ads on Facebook and Instagram. Users will be able to order and track goods directly from these apps. Amazon said that under the new in-app shopping feature, only select ads will be visible on Facebook or Instagram which will be sold by Amazon and independent sellers.
The information about this deal between Amazon and Meta was first leaked by Maurice Rahmi, Meta and Google Ads partner and co-CEO of Disruptive Digital. He has also made a post explaining the benefits of this deal. At present, there is no information whether this feature will be launched in India also or not. It is possible that the company may launch it in India also in the coming time.
