When will Vivo S15, Vivo S15 Pro be launched, here are the full details

Vivo S15 and S15 Pro will be launched on May 19. The company has confirmed the arrival of Vivo TWS Air earbuds with these handsets. The Vivo S15 series of smartphones have recently surfaced in several leaks, including certification listings, indicating some of their key specifications. The vanilla Vivo S15 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, while the Vivo S15 Pro could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity processor.

Vivo announced this via its official Weibo handle. It will host a launch event on May 19 at 7 PM CST / 4:30 PM IST. The company had earlier teased the arrival of the Vivo S15 series. Vivo’s Vice President Jia Jingdong had also confirmed that these upcoming smartphones will feature flagship processors, 80W fast charging support and run on the original version of the OS.

Now, it looks like Vivo has Only teaser poster has been planned for the real launch event. The upcoming Vivo S15, Vivo S15 Pro and Vivo TWS Air earbuds are included in this poster. There is also Vivo Pad and Vivo Watch 2, which could indicate the launch of new variants or color options for these devices.

Not much is known about the Vivo TWS Air. However, Vivo S15 Pro has been spotted on China’s 3C and TENAA certification sites. These alleged listings suggest that the Vivo S15 Pro could sport a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. It can be paired with MediaTek Dimension 8100 5G processor with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. It may come with a 4,400mAh battery pack and run on Android 12. The smartphone is expected to come equipped with a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup.

On the other hand, the vanilla Vivo S15 was also reportedly surfaced on 3C and Geekbench. This smartphone can have a 6.62 inch OLED screen. It is expected to have 12GB RAM with Snapdragon 870 SoC. The handset could house a 4,700mAh battery, which is now confirmed to support 80W fast charging. Right now these smartphones will be launched only in China. There is no information about the launch in India.
