Window 11 new Features: Microsoft has rolled out many new features for Windows 11 users in the Build 2023 Annual Conference. Privacy will be better than before
Microsoft said that the company is going to rollout a privacy setting app for Windows 11 users from May 24, which will allow users to block or allow information to the presence sensor. This will give users the option to enable or disable the presence sensor features such as wake on approach, lock on leave.
The company has added a feature named Glanceable VPN to the taskbar for Windows 11 users. This feature will allow users to easily check VPN status. If your computer is connected to a recognized network, a shield-like icon will appear on the taskbar above the network. People have also started getting this feature. Users can toggle VPN on or off by going to Quick Settings.
From the month of June, Windows 11 users will get a feature called account badging which will alert them in the start menu when their account needs attention. Means it will give you an alert when your system is not protected.
The company has further expanded the languages for its live captions. People can now find captions in 10 more languages, including Chinese (Simplified, China), Chinese (Traditional, Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan), Danish, English (Australia, Canada, India, Ireland, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States), French ( Canada, France) ), German (Germany), Italian (Italy), Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil, Portugal) and Spanish (Mexico, Spain)
Bluetooth Low Energy support
Microsoft said that the company is going to provide Bluetooth Low Energy audio support feature for the PC ecosystem. The company said that for this it has partnered with Samsung Galaxy and Intel, so that users will get high-quality audio at low power. Bluetooth Low Energy audio support will provide a better experience for calls, videos and music on other devices including wireless ear buds like Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Microsoft further stated that the company is excited about this new feature and the future possibilities as Bluetooth LE Audio expands to more devices.
