LIC IPO: How to check the status of your allotment on the official website, here is the complete method

LIC Share Price: The much awaited Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) closed recently. According to DIPAM secretary Tuhin Kant Pandey, the company was to finalize the allotment on May 12. Investors who did not get allotment in the IPO can see the commencement of refunds on May 13. Those to whom the shares will be allotted can see the credit of the shares in their demat account till May 16. The IPO listing is likely to take place on May 17. 

Here’s how the bidders can check their allotment status.

    < li>First go to https://www.bseindia.com/investors/appli_check.aspx.
  • Here you will find the issue type and click on ‘Equity’ appearing in it.
  • >Now go to the issue name. Under Issue Name, select Life Insurance Corporation of India Limited in Dropbox.
  • Now Enter your Application Number.
  • Now Enter your PAN Card Number.
  • Now Click on ‘I am not a Robot’ and submit.

LIC has also given discounts to policyholders investing in its IPO. Policyholders were given a discount of Rs 60 per share, while retail investors and employees of the company were given a discount of Rs 40 per share. Shares will be credited in the demat account of the investors by May 16.

The company has fixed the issue price of Rs 949 IPO. This is the upper band of the issue price of the IPO. The company had fixed the price band of its IPO from Rs 902 to 949. LIC’s IPO will be listed on the stock exchange on May 17.
