Internet shut down in Haryana
Actually, nowadays the farmers of the country are protesting against the government, and because of this farmer movement, the farmers had called upon the farmers of other states to 'Delhi Chalo' on 13 February. In view of this farmer's protest, the Haryana government on Saturday evening announced the suspension of mobile internet services in Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatehabad and Sirsa from February 11 to February 13.
According to the Haryana government, mobile internet service will remain closed in these seven districts of Haryana from 6 am on February 11 to 23:59 pm on February 13. Actually, under the banner of Samyukt Kisan Morcha and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha, farmers of Punjab and Haryana are organizing 'Delhi Chalo' on 13th February.
What things are allowed
Farmers are demanding Minimum Support Price i.e. MSP for their crops from the Central Government. For this reason, the Home Ministry of Haryana Government has banned internet service in seven districts of its state. The government says that it wants to stop the spread of fake news through social media platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter. During this period, personal SMS, mobile recharge, banking SMS, voice calls, corporate and domestic broadband and internet facilities provided by leased lines will remain operational."text-align: justify;">The impact of the farmers' movement is also being seen in Delhi NCR. Farmers have gathered in many border areas of Delhi, whom the police are stopping from entering Delhi. There is heavy traffic jam in many areas of Delhi NCR.
