The company recently released the second beta version of iOS 16 on iPhones. Under this, the ability to edit and unsend messages has been made available in Apple’s iMessage app. If you haven’t updated to this version yet, let us tell you that with iOS 16, iPhone users can edit or unsend any message. This can be done only under the specified time. Apple’s preview page for the iOS 16 feature states that the time period for both these features has been set at 15 minutes. So, before the official roll out of iOS 16, we are telling you that you can edit or unsend sent messages in the iMessage app.
How to Edit Sent Messages in iMessage App in iOS 16-
step 1: Open the Messages app on your iPhone running iOS 16.
Step 2: Now go to the conversation and search for the message you want to edit.
Step 3: Long tap the message you want to edit.
Step 4: Then a dialog box will appear, from which you have to choose the option of Edit.
Step 5: Now do whatever you want to change in that message.
Step 6: When you are done editing the message, tap on the blue checkmark on the right side. After doing this, your message will appear as Edited.
How to Unsend Messages in iMessage App in iOS 16-
step 1: Open Messages app on iPhone.
Step 2: Now go to the conversation and search for the message you want to unsend.
Step 3: Long tap the message you want to unsend.
Step 4: Then a dialog box will appear, from which you have to choose the option of unsend.
