Battle Ground Mobile India: Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) celebrated its anniversary in India only last month. The number of BGMI players in India has also crossed the 100 million mark, but in the meantime the game has been banned in India. BGMI has been removed from the Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. Google has said in a statement that BGMI has been removed from the Play Store following the order of the Government of India, although the reason for the removal is still not clear.
BGMI is just blocked
Skyesports founder and CEO Shiv Nandi has said in a statement that the ban on BGMI is temporary. The game will return to India soon. Let us tell you that the Battlegrounds Mobile India game has been developed by Krafton, although it is operated by Skyesports in India. Shiv Nandi further said that the game has just been blocked. The game is not completely banned. Apart from this, Nandi has also pointed towards the return of TikTok. Let us tell you, TikTok is banned in the Indian market from June 2020.
BGMI is developed by South Korean company Krafton, while its partnership is with Chinese company Tencent Games. It is being said that BGMI was sending data of Indian players to Chinese servers, so the Indian government has blocked BGMI. BGMI launch in July 2021
