That means the company was going to provide a new feature regarding who can reply to your Twitter posts. Now Twitter has officially launched this feature and has shared its information through an X post. Now both verified and free users can decide who will reply to their posts. In other words, you can stop lewd and hate comments by giving the option of reply only to the verified account.
Till now Twitter used to give only three types of settings to the users in the post, in which ‘Everyone’, ‘ There was an option of ‘People You Follow’ and ‘People You Mention’. That means, whichever option you choose from these three, only those people will be able to comment on your post. However, now the company has given another option to the verified as well as free users. You will find the new option under Who can reply inside the post.
