• First of all you have to go to the website of IRCTC.
• After this, you will see the menu option in the corner like the right side above.
• In this you will get the option of login. Click on it.
• After this click on Book Ticket.
• Then you have to enter the name of the station in From from where you will board the train. Whereas, in To, you have to enter the name of the station where you want to go.
• Then select Tatkal option in the dropdown menu. It is set to General by default.
• After this enter the date of journey. After entering the details, click on Search.
• After this, you will get a list of many trains which will be of that route.
• Then click on Book Now in whatever train you want to book the ticket and in the class you want to book.
• After this you have to enter passenger details. The most important thing in Tatkal ticket is to show speed. In such a situation, if you keep the master list in advance, then you will not have much trouble in entering the details. You can add passenger in just one click.
• After this fill the rest of the details, enter captcha, enter mobile number.
• Then you will be asked to make the payment. Make the payment After this your ticket will be booked.

Note: As we told you that it is very important to show speed in this whole process. In this case, add money in IRCTC Wallet along with the master list. If you pay with the same, then your payment will also be done in one or two clicks.
