Surat The incident of mother throwing her newborn baby has come to light in Surat. On Sunday morning, police found the body of an 18-day-old baby under a district bridge over the Tapi River. The child is said to have been dumped by his mother Sahin Sheikh (39). Sahin threw her out after a quarrel with her husband on Friday.

However, the woman later alleged that her daughter had been abducted and on Saturday, Sachin lodged a false complaint at the GIDC police station. The woman, who was questioned by police, changed her statement several times. He later confessed to police that he threw the girl into the river from Hope Bridge.

The woman told police that she was upset because of a dispute with her husband, Aaron. Her parents also refused to help her settle the dispute, which upset her.

The body of a child was found under a bridge in the district on Sunday, a Rander police station official said. The offense will be recorded after completing a few formalities. The police will take further action after the complaint is registered.

The accused woman had separated from her first husband a year ago against the wishes of her parents. She later lived with rickshaw puller Aaron in the Unna Nagar area. In the meantime, she had recently given birth to a baby girl.

A few weeks ago, there were differences between the two and there were small quarrels. On Friday, Sahin went to his pier and complained about Aaron, the police official said. But her parents refused to help her. Outraged, Sahin rushed to the bridge and threw the baby into the river.
