Sagar News: Elderly women of Madhya Pradesh have become angry with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for giving one thousand rupees a month to Ladli Behna. CM Chouhan, who came to Sagar on Tuesday to take stock of the rain-damaged crops, was also reprimanded by many elderly women in a typical Bundeli style with laughter and sarcasm. On this, even Chief Minister Chouhan could not stop laughing and laughed out loud.

Actually, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had reached Sagar on Tuesday to take stock of the damaged crops due to rain and hailstorm. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chouhan told the women who were telling him their problems that he is going to give one thousand rupees to the sisters. Now its forms are being filled. Meanwhile, an elderly woman laughingly said in Bundeli language that,"We should also give one thousand rupees to Dukaria."

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also laughed after listening to the women. Meanwhile, elderly women were told that their pension is also being increased from Rs 600 to Rs 1000.

Target to benefit 1 crore women
Inform that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has launched ‘Ladli Bahna Yojana’ to help half the population of the state. With this scheme, a target has been set to benefit about 80 lakh to 1 crore women of the state. A provision of Rs 8000 crore has been made for the scheme in the state budget. Under the scheme, one thousand rupees will be given every month to the eligible women from June 10, 2023.

These women will get benefits
In this, married, unmarried, widowed and abandoned women from 23 to 60 years have been included. In view of the assembly elections to be held in November this year, this scheme is being called the masterstroke of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
