Yashpal Malik, National President of All India Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti, today said that the Jat community in UP has been demanding for reservation of Jats since the year 2006. Jat reservation demand in Uttar Pradesh once vocal
Yashpal Malik alleged that despite this, PM Modi and Amit Shah did not fulfill the promise made to the Jats. Due to which, now before the assembly elections, the Jat Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti will submit a memorandum to the MLAs of about 140 such assemblies in UP, which are affected by the votes of Jats. Along with this, the members of the committee will also go from village to village and door to door asking the people of Jat community to raise questions from PM Modi and Amit Shah regarding reservation. He said that if the government reneged on its promise, then the Jat community can also make a big announcement before the assembly elections. For this, the Jat community will not remain tied only to the BJP. He claimed that any political party would fail to form the government in the state without the support of the Jats.
