Swachh Survekshan 2021: Many cities of Bihar have made place in Under-10, Deputy Chief Minister Tarkishore Prasad said – will do better

Patna: The central government has released the results of the annual Swachh Survekshan 2021 (Swachh Survekshan 2021). In the survey announced by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, many cities of Bihar have made it to the Under-10 and the ranking of many cities has improved than before. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tarkishore Prasad gave this information. He said that other cities of Bihar will also perform better in the coming days.

Many cities performed better than in the past

In the zonal ranking category, the ranking of Patna is 44 in the East Zone in the municipal bodies with a population of more than 10 lakhs. Patna was ranked 47th in the last survey. In the East Zone, Supaul has been ranked 7th, Araria 23rd and Lakhisarai 29th in the municipal bodies with a population of 50 thousand to one lakh. The Deputy Chief Minister said that apart from this, other cities in different categories have also performed better than before, but there is a need for more improvement, on which the government is working with commitment.
