BJP MP Sanghmitra Maurya: BJP MP from Budaun Sanghmitra Maurya has distanced himself from the controversy arising out of his father Swami Prasad Maurya’s remarks on Ramcharitmanas. Sanghamitra said, I am focusing on the elections and ensuring that my party comes back to power again. This is not the time to speak on issues other than elections. Significantly, a day earlier Uttar Pradesh BJP chief Bhupendra Chowdhary had asked Sanghamitra to clear her stand as she is a BJP MP and she is required to follow the party’s ideology.
