Rahul Gandhi Disqualified: Wayanad parliamentary session of Kerala on Friday after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was disqualified from the membership of the Lok Sabha. The seat was declared vacant. Even after the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi, there has been no response from all the anti-BJP leaders. It also includes the names of many supporters of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.
After the membership of Rahul Gandhi, the response of Bhim Army Chief Chandra Shekhar Azad and Apna Dal Kamerwadi leader Pallavi Patel has not come. Although the reaction of RLD chief Jayant Chaudhary has come. But he did not directly name Rahul Gandhi anywhere in his response. In fact, the Wayanad seat has been shown vacant in the list of MPs for the 17th Lok Sabha on the Lok Sabha website after the disqualification notification.

Membership gone because of this
Rahul Gandhi was elected Lok Sabha MP from this seat. But according to a notification by the Lok Sabha Secretariat, Rahul Gandhi, representing the Wayanad parliamentary seat in Kerala, was disqualified from the Lok Sabha on Friday in view of his conviction by a Surat court in a 2019 defamation case. The court sentenced Rahul Gandhi to two years imprisonment in the defamation case.
Apart from Wayanad, Jalandhar and Lakshadweep seats have also been shown vacant in the Lok Sabha website. The Jalandhar seat has fallen vacant due to the death of Congress member Santokh Singh Chowdhary. The Lakshadweep seat has fallen vacant due to the disqualification of NCP member Mohd Faizal. Rahul Gandhi represented the Amethi Lok Sabha seat from the year 2004 to 2019. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi was defeated by BJP leader Smriti Irani on the Amethi seat.
