Amarpreet Amri Death: International Kabaddi player Amarpreet Amri (Amarpreet Amri) died on 17 January in Canada. It was only a month ago that Amarpreet went to Canada with his wife. Amarpreet Amri’s body could not be brought to India due to lack of resources, due to which Amarpreet’s elderly parents are yearning to see their son for the last time. According to the information, the last rites will be performed in Canada on 26 February. In such a situation, he has requested the Government of India to get his son’s last darshan.
‘Sold even land to send son abroad’
Amarpreet’s parents said with moist eyes that they do not have the financial resources to attend the cremation of their son or bring the body to India. Amarpreet’s father Baldev Singh and mother Rajinder Kaur shed tears and said that they had invested lakhs of rupees to send their son abroad for a bright future, they had to sell their land to send their son abroad.
He said that after Amri’s marriage, his wife also went to Canada with him. He said that Amri had reached Canada a month ago, where he died of a heart attack. The elderly parents said that they would have to go to Canada to see their son’s face for the last time, but for this they do not have the money nor can they bring their son’s body from there to India.
< p style ="text-align: justify;">It is worth mentioning that Amarpreet Amri started his career with 35 kg weight Kabaddi and from there he traveled till Kabaddi Open. He also played for Azad Academy Ghal Kalan and once went to play abroad.
