Motihari: Police in the district has got a big success in Piprakothi police station area. Kunal Singh, a notorious criminal of North Bihar including East Champaran, was arrested by the police (Motihari News). The police gave this information on Wednesday. With the arrest of notorious criminal Kunal Singh, the Motihari police has recovered a large quantity of arms and cartridges. Among the recovered weapons, one AK-47 rifle, 25 rounds of AK 47 cartridges, 1 9 mm country-made pistol with 9 mm magazine, two 20 mm cartridges and six walkie talkies have been recovered.

Motihari Superintendent of Police Kantesh Kumar Mishra gave this information in a press conference on Wednesday late evening. He told that the arrest of notorious criminal Kunal Singh has been done from Kudiya village under Piprakothi police station area of the district. It was reported that Notorious criminal Kunal Singh and his four-five accomplices are going to reach Kudiya with many automatic weapons and all the criminals are going to assemble and execute a big incident. After the information, a team of Chakia, Piprakothi, Sugauli, Banjariya, Muffsil police station and police line constables was formed under the leadership of Chakia ASP and Areraj DSP.
Kunal Singh’s accomplices managed to escape – Superintendent of Police
The Superintendent of Police said that under a special strategy, Kunal Singh was caught from his village house by raiding in a plain dress and private vehicle while his henchmen managed to escape. Raids are being conducted to identify the absconding miscreants and arrest them. Soon the absconding miscreants will be arrested. Whereas, the arrested Kunal Singh is being interrogated.
