It is learned that the Narsipatnam Municipal Commissioner demolished the wall of Ayyanapathru’s house in Narsipatnam with JCBs, claiming that the wall was built by occupying the crop canal and occupying two cents of government land. The High Court was in awe of this. The High Court has issued orders not to go to Intijoli till further orders. Questioned whether the midnight demolition should have taken place. Vijay and Rajesh, sons of TDP senior leader Chintakayala Ayyannapatru, filed an urgent suit in the high court on Sunday seeking to halt the demolition of the retaining wall of a house in Narsipatnam. Veevi Satish, counsel for the petitioners, heard the arguments. He told the court that the barricade was constructed as per the approved plan and that the wall was constructed only after the tehsildar and water resources department officials examined and determined the boundaries.
With the political party, the demolition was started in violation of the rules. Considering this argument, Justice D. Ramesh .. expressed awe that the demolition would take place at midnight. Interim orders were issued not to proceed with the demolition process. Officers were ordered to report the matter immediately. The public prosecutor on behalf of the Revenue Department heard arguments and said that part of the barricade had already been demolished. The court was asked to take some time to submit the full details. The court adjourned the case till tomorrow.
