Mumbai: Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in the next four days in some districts of Konkan, Central Maharashtra and Marathwada. The regional meteorological department has forecast this.
Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, Palghar and some parts of Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri districts in South Konkan. In North-Central Maharashtra Pune , Nashik, Nandurbar and the ghat areas of Satara and Kolhapur districts in south central Maharashtra are likely to receive torrential to very torrential rains. On 5th July, moderate to torrential rains along with strong winds and thunderstorms at 30-40 kmph fell in some parts of Aurangabad, Jalna, Hingoli, Parbhani, Nanded, Beed, Latur and Osmanabad districts of Marathwada. There is also a possibility of torrential to very heavy rains between July 6 and 7.
Fishermen should not go to the Maharashtra-Goa coast for the next four days, such instructions have been given by the Regional Meteorological Department. Waves of 3.5 to 4.8 meters high are also expected on the Malvan to Vasai coast till midnight today.

Heavy rain also fell in Ratnagiri today. Heavy rains have also disrupted life in Lanza taluka. At Vilvade, the flood waters of Muchkundi river came directly on the road and caused traffic jam. & nbsp; Mandangad taluka was also badly affected by the rains. All the major rivers in the district are overflowing. If the rains continue, agriculture is likely to suffer. The submerged and sooty river is flowing at warning levels. & Nbsp;
