Ghaziabad News: Prisoners in Ghaziabad’s Dasna District Jail have won the hearts of people with their artwork. These prisoners have made paintings using cloth, paper cuttings and colors, which have been put on the walls of the jail. The most interesting of these paintings is a picture of Mahatma Gandhi, which has surprised even the experts. These paintings are very beautifully done.
The inmates of Dasna Jail have made a painting of Mahatma Gandhi with the help of paper and clippings and put it on the wall of the District Jail. Recently, a 6-week workshop was organized in the jail, in which 20 inmates of this jail took part. All the nuances of painting were taught in this workshop, where the prisoners learned this art with full enthusiasm. After this workshop, these prisoners together made a painting of Mahatma Gandhi. In this the prisoners used paper, cloth clippings and colours.
Experts were also surprised to see the paintings
When the art expert saw this painting, he was also surprised and looked very happy on this effort of the prisoners. Dasna Jail Superintendent Alok Singh told that some effort is made to reform the prisoners for their interest. Those prisoners who are interested in art or any other work, they are made to work accordingly and are molded in their mold. This generates positive energy in the prisoners and removes negativity.
The jail superintendent said that 20 prisoners took part in the workshop that was organized in the jail. He made the best painting through his art. These prisoners have also been given certificates. This painting has been prepared from waste material. He said that Mahatma Gandhi is the symbol of peace and the father of the nation. Mahatma Gandhi also has thoughts, hate the sin not the sinner.
