Dhanbad News: SNMMCH, the biggest hospital of Koyalanchal Dhanbad, is once again in controversies, where 120 contractual health workers have been suddenly shown the way out. Notice was given to all contract workers to be fired, after which there is a lot of resentment among all the health workers. Today, all the health workers have sat on an indefinite strike at the main gate of the hospital, demanding that the services be restored, due to which the health services in the hospital have been disrupted and the people who have reached the hospital for treatment are wandering in this scorching heat.

Health workers sitting on indefinite strike say that for the last 8 to 10 years they served in the hospital. During the Corona period, when they did not even go to their own patients, then these people risked their lives to serve the patients. This is the last year of the Hemant government of Jharkhand, so there was hope among the people that health workers reinstated on contract would be made permanent, but far from the matter of confirmation, the people reinstated on contract are being shown the way out of work. Health workers demand that they will continue to sit on indefinite strike until the government withdraws its decision.

The patients reaching SNMMCH hospital for treatment due to the strike of the health workers are facing a lot of trouble. The hospital OPD service has come to a complete standstill. Patients and their relatives are worried about the treatment. There were also reports of people carrying patients clashing with health workers.
