Delhi Jal Board: Water service in Delhi has been affected due to repairs for the past several days. Now once again water service will be stopped in many areas of Delhi on March 29 and March 30. According to the information given by the Delhi Jal Board, due to the interconnection from cremation ground Sultanpur to Dada Mandu Karla, water supply will remain suspended in many areas of the capital from 10:00 am on March 29 to 8:00 am on March 30. Because of which people have been directed to save water for their needs.
According to the information given by the Delhi Jal Board, water supply will be stopped on March 29 and March 30. The places in the capital where water supply will stop include Nangloi, Mundka Village, Kamaruddin Nagar, Nihal Vihar, Ranhola Village, Kavita Colony. Apart from this, water supply will remain suspended in Mohan Garden, Fish Market, Vikas Nagar, Uttam Nagar, Regional Colony of Gopal Nagar, Sainik Enclave, Daulatpur Hasanpur, Ujwa, Rawta, Rajdhani Park, Jwalapuri etc. The Jal Board will supply water through tanker facility for a fixed time in these areas if required.
Helpline Number Issued
Delhi Jal Board in its order has appealed to the people to save water as per their requirement. Apart from this, according to the area, arrangements have been made to provide water facility for them through tankers. In view of this helpline number has been issued by Delhi Jal Board and people can also contact for water supply through Central Control Room.
In the past, the Delhi government had prepared a plan to promote the rain water harvesting system. In this, on behalf of the Jal Board of the Delhi Government, the person who installs this system to collect rain water at his house is being given financial assistance of Rs 50,000.
