Delhi News: In Chhawla area of ​​Delhi, a person tried to set another person on fire, in which two people got scorched. An official said on Friday that the incident took place on Thursday. The officer said that the victim, Dipanshu, 23, suffered 50 per cent burns and was admitted to the hospital along with the accused Titu. The officer said Dipanshu suspected Titu of having an affair with his girlfriend and this led to a fight between the two.

According to the police, information was received at Chhawla police station on Thursday that two scorched people have been admitted to RTRM hospital by CAT ambulance. When the police team reached the hospital, they found Deepanshu and Titu admitted in RTRM hospital due to burns. The police said that the doctor told him to make a statement. After this both were referred to Safdarjung Hospital.

Police arrested one accused

Victim Deepanshu alleges that a person named Kalu poured petrol on him and Titu lit the lighter. The police have registered a case under sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and Kalu has been arrested, the official said. The officer said that another accused Titu is admitted in the hospital. Further investigation is on in this matter.

An elderly person died in another fire incident

Let us inform that today (March 10) the incident of fire also came to light in Trilokpuri area of ​​East Delhi. In this incident, a 70 year old man was burnt alive. On getting information about this, the local police immediately reached the spot. After this, fire tenders also reached the spot and the fire was brought under control. While extinguishing the fire, firefighters found the charred body of a man inside the slum.
