The cyclone is likely to reach 40 to 50 kmph and intermittent 60 kmph in the central, eastern Bay of Bengal, southeastern Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea.

06.05.2022: Hurricane force winds of 50 to 60 kmph and intermittent 70 kmph are expected in the Central East Bengal Sea, Southeastern Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea. The Chennai Meteorological Department has advised fishermen not to visit the area on the day.
