Foundation stone laid for Apache unit in Bangalore
AMRAVATI: CM Jagan today paid obeisance to the Apache Industries at Inangalur in Srikalahasti area as part of Sri Balaji District Tour. Apache has come forward to set up a leather unit in Ingalore with a budget of Rs 800 crore. The company, which has invested Rs 400 crore in the first phase, will invest another Rs 400 crore in the next five years. Apache will manufacture adidas shoes, leather jackets and leather belts in this unit.
Jagan spoke at an event organized there after the unit paid homage to the unit. He said the Apache industry would create 10,000 new jobs. He said 80 per cent of these jobs are held by locals. Jagan said the industry would be available by 2023.
Meanwhile, Jagan also participated in the inauguration of the Vakulamata Temple, which was built with his own funds by Minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy during the visit. Later in Tirupati, a panel of TCL Group Opto Display Technologies Ltd., Dixon Technologies, Fox Link, Sunny Optotech and other companies paid homage.
