Chhattisgarh Nagar Nikay Chunav: After the announcement of the urban body election dates, preparations have started from the political parties. The very next day after the announcement, Congress held a meeting regarding candidate selection in the presence of state in-charge PL Punia and CM Bhupesh Baghel. After discussing many issues in the meeting, the Congress has decided to give tickets to the hard working candidates. In fact, on Thursday, PL Punia reached Congress Bhawan directly from the airport in Raipur. There was a gathering of Congress workers including PCC Chief Mohan Markam in Congress Bhawan. Along with PL Punia, all the cabinet ministers also attended the meeting. In the meeting, the Congress decided to finalize the names of the candidates after ward-wise discussions.
