Chhattisgarh Incident: Mother and son died due to electrocution in Chhattisgarh, accident happened while drying clothes

Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur News: A painful accident happened in the morning in a ward of Municipal Corporation Chirmiri in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district of Chhattisgarh. Here mother and son died due to electrocution. After the accident, there is an atmosphere of mourning in the entire ward. After getting information about the incident, Chirmiri police, Mayor and others reached the spot.

Accident while drying clothes
According to the information, a woman died due to electrocution in the wire while drying clothes in Ward 36 of Municipal Corporation Chirmiri. According to the information, Gamaniya Bai, a woman living in a private residence of Ward 36, went to dry clothes on the wire in the courtyard after taking bath in the morning. Being a GI wire, the flow of current continued in it, due to which the woman got stuck in the wire along with her clothes. 

Son also died when he came to save his mother
Seeing his mother clinging on, Mithlesh (26) tried to save her, but he too got electrocuted. The people around informed the local police about the incident. On getting the information, Jai Thakur, in-charge of Korea post reached the spot and inspected the spot. After conducting panchnama, the bodies were sent to PSC Domnahill for postmortem.

After the incident, there is an atmosphere of mourning in the whole locality. Here, Chirmiri Mayor Kanchan Jaiswal, Chairman Gayatri Birha, Councilor Premshankar Soni, Ajay Baghel, Mohan Lal Banjare and others reached the spot as soon as the news of the incident was received.

Three died due to electrocution in Shakti
Earlier on March 27, three people died due to electrocution in Shakti district, while two people were injured. According to Baradwar Station House Officer Rajesh Patel, the incident took place in Khamaria Panchayat under Baradwar police station area. Those who died include Rajkumar Sevak (28), Premlal Mahilange (20) and Ajay Singh (20). Nandlal Sidar (27) and Paruv Sahu escaped with burn injuries.
