Banka: In Bihar, on the day of Holi, incidents of firing took place in several districts including Bhagalpur, Buxar. Even death has happened in many places. In Rajaun Navtolia of Rajaun police station area of Banka district, a young man was shot dead in a family dispute on Wednesday late evening of Holi. The deceased has been identified as Valmiki Yadav (25 years), third son of Mahendra Yadav, resident of Navtolia village.
Exact reasons not known
In relation to the incident, it was told that the young man was murdered in a family dispute. After the incident, all the relatives are said to be absconding. The exact reason could not be ascertained in this whole case. Valmiki Yadav used to run a motorcycle garage near old Thakurbari in Rajoun Bazar. His father Mahendra Yadav has a garage on the Bhagalpur-Hansdiha main road opposite Dhoni railway station near Naripa turn. Valmiki was the youngest of three brothers. He has two elder brothers, Pintu and Rakesh.
Police investigating the case
After getting the information of the incident, Rajaun police station chief Manoj Kumar Singh along with his police team is camping on the spot. On the other hand, on getting information about the incident, Banka SDPO Bipin Bihari also reached the spot. The police have started investigating the matter.
Body sent for postmortem
In this regard, SDPO Bipin Bihari told that the young man was killed in a family dispute. The police is interrogating Rakesh Yadav, the middle brother of the deceased Valmiki Yadav, in custody. Only Rakesh is being told guilty. At the same time, Station Officer Manoj Kumar Singh told that the dead body has been sent to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. Police is investigating.
