Aurangabad: Clash between two groups in Aurangabad, 13 vehicles set on fire, 10 policemen injured in stone pelting

Aurangabad: Police tried to control the situation after a clash between two groups near a Ram temple ahead of Ram Navami in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad city. A crowd of about 500 angry people pelted stones and threw petrol bottles. At least 12 people including 10 policemen were injured in this. Aurangabad is now called Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. 

Near Ram Mandir  The ruckus started with a clash between two groups of 5-5 people 

According to officials, the incident happened in Kiradpura area of ​​Aurangabad city where there is a famous Ram temple. On the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, the miscreants  set 13 vehicles on fire. To control the unruly crowd, the police fired tear gas shells and plastic bullets and also did some live firing. Eight police teams have been formed to identify and arrest the miscreants. This incident started when there was a clash between two groups of 5-5 people near the temple. After this, a group of youth left from there. Aurangabad Police Commissioner Nikhil Gupta told that after some time the police team reached there. An hour later, a crowd of miscreants gathered there carrying stones and petrol bottles and attacked the police.

Some people are trying to vitiate the atmosphere by making provocative statements 

An FIR has been registered against four to five hundred people in Jinsi police station under various sections including attempt to murder. Describing the violence as unfortunate, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in Nagpur said that some people are trying to vitiate the atmosphere by making provocative statements. On the other hand the opposition has got an issue.

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leaders have accused BJP and AIMIM of inciting violence. This has been done to obstruct the rally of Mahavikas Aghadi to be held on 2 April. Shiv Sena Uddhav faction leader Chandkant Khaire said that AIMIM’s Imtiaz Jaleel, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Aurangabad resident Union Minister Bhagwat Karad are friends. This plan was of those people. 

AIMIM MP demands probe 

Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Ajit Pawar said in Nashik whether this is an attempt to create hatred between two communities? Police should inquire and find out the mastermind. Responding to the allegations leveled against him, AIMIM MP from Aurangabad Jaleel told reporters that this was being done to hide his failure. When something good happens,  It happens because of them, but if something bad happens, it is because of AIMIM. He said that I want the incident to be investigated.
