As expected by everyone.. the ODI World Cup 2023 match between India and Pakistan has been rescheduled. ICC has announced a new date to this effect. A total of 9 matches including the India-Pakistan match have been rescheduled. The new schedule has been officially announced by the International Cricket Council.
According to the earlier announced schedule, the India Pakistan match was to be held on October 15. However, due to security reasons, the matches will be held one day earlier i.e. on October 14. But there is no change in the venue of the match. The matches will be played on the allotted grounds in the originally announced schedule.
The Afghanistan-England match scheduled to be held on October 14 in Delhi will be held on October 15. The Pakistan-Sri Lanka match scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on October 12 will be held two days earlier. The Australia-Pakistan match in Lucknow on October 13 will be played on October 12 and the New Zealand-Bangladesh match on October 14 in Chennai will be played on October 13. The England-Bangladesh match will be a day and night match on November 11 in Dharamshala. The day match will start at half past ten in the morning. The Australia-Bangladesh match will be held a day earlier on November 11. While the England-Pakistan match was scheduled to be held a day earlier on November 11, the India-Netherlands match in Bengaluru was rescheduled one day later to November 12.
