Regarding Tilak, who played a winning innings against Chennai Super Kings, he has predicted that he will play for India soon. Tilak Verma (34 not out) scored the most runs for the Mumbai team.

Tilak Verma came to the crease after Sharma was dismissed. Bowler Mukesh Chaudhary tried to change the course of the match with his bowling spell. He took two wickets in his third over, which included the wickets of Sams and Tristan Stubbs. Both the batsmen were dismissed lbw for one and zero respectively.

Mumbai made 103 runs in 14.5 overs for the loss of five wickets and chased down the target easily to beat Chennai by five wickets. This is the third win for Mumbai this season and remains on the tenth position in the points table with six points. At the same time, Chennai Super Kings are in ninth place with 8 points. Both the teams have played 12 matches so far.
