Yuzvendra Chahal is yet to get a chance in the T20I series against New Zealand. If Jauhar is not shown inside the field, then Chahal is doing exploits outside. His latest victim is New Zealand’s strong opener Martin Guptill. Chahal caught Guptill before the second T20 match in Ranchi. In the video posted on the Instagram story, Chahal is seen repeatedly asking Guptill the same question, ‘What did he tell me in New Zealand?’
Chahal means fun full on!
In the video, Chahal asks, ‘What did you tell me in New Zealand?’ In response, Guptill says, ‘I said friend, how are you?’ Chahal says ‘No, no tell the truth.’ Guptill immediately replies, ‘No, I don’t remember. don’t remember
What was Chahal reminding Guptill?
Actually this question of Chahal was related to an incident of last year. Then the Indian team went on a tour of New Zealand. During that time a video went viral. After a T20 match, Guptill and Rohit Sharma were talking about something that Chahal entered. Seeing Chahal, Guptill abused him in Hindi, forgetting that live telecast was happening.
Chahal may get a chance in the last T20
Chahal was not included in the Indian team for the ICC T20 World Cup. Many questions arose over this decision. He then returned to the team for the home T20 series against New Zealand but did not find a place in the playing 11 of the first two matches. So far, the spinner duo of all-rounder Axar Patel and Ashwin Ravichandran have batted brilliantly.
However, after capturing the series in the second T20 win, captain Rohit Sharma hinted that those who have not yet got a chance, they will be fed in the next match. Chahal can be included in the team by keeping either Ashwin or Patel out.
