As part of the Indian team’s tour of the West Indies, the Indian spinners were on fire in the first ODI on Thursday. Ravindra Jadeja on one side and Kuldeep Yadav on the other side spinning the ball. Kuldeep Yadav took five wickets while Jadeja dismissed three. But some interesting incidents happened in this match. Virat Kohli’s catch is one of them.
Jadeja came to bowl in the 18th over of the innings. Romaria Shepherd tried to play the shot.. the ball took an edge and took it towards the slip. But Team India’s star player Virat Kohli, who is fielding there, reacted very quickly. Diving to the right.. he caught the ball with one hand. The other players were also surprised to see Virat’s stunning catch.
Jadeja, who had a chit chat with Kuldeep Yadav after the match, praised Virat Kohli. He said that he was happy to see Virat’s catch. He laughed saying that he used to take catches in other people’s bowling..someone should take such super catches in his bowling too. He explained that he had to be very sharp to receive the ball that came at a low height.. Virat received it brilliantly. BCCI shared a funny video of Jadeja’s speech through Twitter.
Together with Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja, they played in the under-19 team for Team India. Both of them have known each other since then. Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja are definitely among the amazing fielders in the Indian team. So far, both of them have impressed many times with super fielding.
