Team India will leave no stone unturned to prepare for WTC, Indian bowlers will practice with duke ball between IPL

Indian Team Practice For WTC: Team India has once again reached the final of the World Test Championship. The final of the World Test Championship 2023 will be played at the Oval in England from June 7. In the last edition of the World Test Championship, the Indian team had to face defeat. And this time Team India will leave no stone unturned. Keeping an eye on the final, the Indian fast bowlers will practice with the Dukes ball. Like Test cricket in India is played with SG ball, Test cricket in England is played with Dukes ball.

The final of the World Test Championship will be held exactly nine days after the final of the 16th season of the IPL starting on 31 March. After the Ahmedabad Test, Rohit Sharma had indicated that IPL fast bowlers will practice. After the Test series against Australia, the Indian team will play a 3-match ODI series against the visiting team. Captain Rohit Sharma has confirmed about the practice with Duke ball. This will include bowlers like Mohammad Siraj, Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav and Shardul Thakur.

Will focus on workload management of bowlers

Preparation Required

Rohit further said, “The players who will be part of the final are not the players who have not played in Britain. There might be one or two players here and there and the rest of us have all played in that part of the world. I don’t think it will be a big problem. Look, I believe that preparation will be important for us after coming to the finals.”
