Siraj ruled out of second T20 with hand injury

Ranchi, Nov 19 (PTI) Indian pacer Mohammad Siraj suffered a left arm injury while fielding in the opening match of the three-match T20I series against New Zealand, forcing him to be ruled out of the second T20I on Friday. .

Due to the unavailability of Siraj for selection, Harshal Patel got an opportunity to make his debut.

The BCCI (Cricket Board of India) said in a statement, “Siraj sustained an injury to the middle of his left hand (web) while fielding his bowling in the first T20 International at Jaipur. The BCCI medical team is monitoring his progress. ,

India had won the first T20 by five wickets in which Siraj conceded 39 runs in four overs and took one wicket.
