Rohit Sharma sets record in IND vs NZ 2nd T20I with Rahul

Team India captain Rohit Sharma broke the record in the second T20I match against New Zealand at Ranchi on Friday night. Rohit Sharma, who scored 55 off just 36 balls with the help of 1×4 and 5×6, became the second batsman to score 29 half centuries in International T20s. Kohli tops the list with 29 half centuries, while Rohit Sharma also stands opposite him. The third T20 match between India and New Zealand will be played in Kolkata on Sunday night. It is known that Kohli is away for this T20 series.

Rohit Sharma holds the record for most fifties in international T20s, as well as a few others. Rohit Sharma tops the list with the 13th century partnership as the cricketer with the most century partnerships in the T20s. He is followed by Babur Azam and Martin Guptill with 12 century partnerships and David Warner with 11 century partnerships.

It is followed by Martin Guptill-Kane Williamson, Rohit Sharma-Shikhar Dhawan with four centuries.
