Rishabh Bandh sketches ‘Butler’: Ashwin’s half-century

Rajasthan Royals and Delhi Capitals clash in the 15th and 58th league matches of the IPL. Delhi won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Rajasthan innings:

Jas Butler and Yashaswi Jaishwal were the openers for Rajasthan in the first innings. Rishabh focused solely on knocking him down, as the score was guaranteed to cross 200+ runs if Butler struggled for a long time.

Butler Weakness:

Butler has previously suffocated against left-handed inswing balls. Thus, Rishabh Bandh brought Chetan Zachariah against Butler. Zachariah did not hit a butler in the opening over. This was followed by Todd bowling the first four balls of the third over. Thus, Butler, who was forced to hit the big shot on the next ball, gave up a catch to Shardul Tagore in the mid-on direction and was dismissed.

Ashwin’s half-century:

Ravichandran Aswin, who became the next One Town batsman, continued to score big shots. However, on the other end, Yashaswi Jaishwal 19 (19) tied the innings as the Delhi team could not bowl. Following this, Aswin was dismissed for 50 (38) with a half-century.

Next wicket:

Captain Sanju Samson 6 (4) and Ryan Barak 9 (5) did not make a big impact. Devdat Padikkal, who had been batting for a long time, was also bowled out for 48 (30) in the 19th over as the score began to plummet. In the end, Rajasthan Royals added 160/6 in 20 overs. Van Deer Dushan 12 (10) and Bolt 3 (3) were on the field until the last.
