AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle: IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has retired its team jersey number-17 and 333 forever. That is, now no RCB player will be able to wear the jersey of these two numbers. Both these jersey numbers belong to two legend batsmen of RCB, AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle, and in honor of these two legendary players, RCB has decided to retire both these jersey numbers.
AB de Villiers used to wear jersey number 17 for RCB, while Chris Gayle used to wear jersey number 333 and enter the field for RCB. Both these players have now said goodbye to RCB. Both these players have scored a lot of runs for RCB in a rash manner. Because of them, the team has also won many matches. In such a situation, RCB is going to include both these batsmen in their ‘Hall of Fame’ and hence their jersey numbers will also be retired in honor of these two legends.
