- Sachin Tendulkar is second in terms of highest average among Indian players in Border-Gavaskar Trophy. In this, Rishabh Pant is at number one with an average of 62.40.
- Sachin has scored maximum 9 centuries in this trophy. Apart from this, he has scored 16 half-centuries. After this, Steve Smith is at number two with 8 centuries.

Significantly, the Border-Gavaskar series to be played this year will start from 9 February. Its first match will be played in Nagpur.
