Weightlifting World Championships: Olympic Silver Medalist Mirabai Chanu has created history at the Weightlifting World Championships. He has won the silver medal in the weightlifting world championship by lifting a total weight of 200 kg. 

Meanwhile, China’s weightlifter Jiang Huihua has won the gold medal by lifting a weight of 206 kg. On the other hand, another Chinese weightlifter, Hou Zhihui, made it to the podium by lifting 198 kg. Zhihui is the Olympic champion in the 49 kg category. She won the gold medal in the 49 kg category at the Tokyo Olympics.
 
Lifted 113 kg in the clean and jerk

There she lifted 89 kg in snatch while Indian weightlifter Chanu managed to lift 113 kg in clean and jerk and 87 kg in snatch. Zhihui finished third and won the bronze medal. While Mirabai has secured the silver medal. Along with this, Jiang Huihua lifted 113 kg in clean and jerk and 93 kg in snatch. Thus he lifted a total weight of 206 kg and won the gold medal.
